O'Brien has been in the jewelry business for
over 30 years. A certified gemologist, he
was educated at the Gemological Institute
GoldWorks was founded by owner Ed O'Brien
in 1988 in Hartsdale, NY, and then in 1992,
moved to its current retail store location in West
Haven, CT. We specialize in jewelry repairs
while you wait and watch, as well as custom
made jewelry designs. We have access to
all lines of jewelry and diamonds, and we
sell diamonds well below retail price, with no
request too large or too small; and of course,
we service everything we sell. Our staff
has a combined 75 years experience in the business,
and we also offer the following
services: ring sizing, necklace and bracelet
soldering and repair, watch band sizing,
watch battery replacement, prong re-tipping, stone
setting, pearl re-stringing, engraving, appraisals,
and more. GoldWorks is
also well known for being the home of the
free ring cleaning, and we offer free
inspections!
